Sic Bo is a casino dice game originated in China, but spread out across gambling venues throughout the world. It’s arguably the most exciting gambling game with dice.
The game is very fast and easy in principle, even though it may seem difficult at first. Don’t worry, though, as we’ll walk you through every step of a mobile Sic Bo game round.
How to Play Sic Bo?
Whether you play the game in real life, online or on mobile, the rules are basically the same. There are three stages in each round, namely:
- The betting stage
- The rolling of the die
- The payouts
Like in most casino table games, the players are expected to place their bets first. After that, the game dealer casts three 6-sided dice. Depending on the outcome, the players win specific amounts of money or lose their bets.
Mobile Sic Bo Betting
Now, there are many betting options at Sic-Bo. That’s what all those fields on the betting table are for. They all have different odds too, which also means different payouts. You can win up to 180x your stake at any moment!
The ways you can bet are as follows:
- Small/Big or 4-10/11-17 total (pays 1:1)
- The exact total of the three dice (the odds vary and pay from 6:1 to 62:1)
- Combination of two exact numbers (pays 6:1)
- A single number (pays from 1:1 to 12:1 depending on how many dice have that number)
- Double, i.e. the same number on two dice (pays 10:1)
- Any Triple, i.e. any same number on all dice (pays 30:1)
- Triple, i.e. a specific number on all dice (pays 180:1)
Players can stake on as many fields as they want. The number of maximum chips is often limited, but there are still thousands of ways to play mobile Sic Bo.
Sic Bo Strategy: Example
We’ll even go further and tell you that placing multiple bets is a great strategy in Sic Bo. Of course, you need to know how to do it properly. Luckily, there are a few strategies that can minimise the risk.
For example, you can try covering as many outcomes as possible. This can be done without making too many bets that will inevitably lose, too.
A popular example includes covering four boxes. Place two chips on double 1, 5 and 6 and the three chips on the total of 9. This covers several high-paying outcomes and fairly decent odds.
TL;DR – Sic Bo allows lots of strategies yet is a very simple game to learn and play.
