Cleo’s Wish is the latest NextGen Gaming slot to grace our computer and mobile screens. Only recently released in January 2018, this slot is based upon the beautiful Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra. ‘Do we need any more Ancient Egypt-themed slots?’ you might well be wondering, and for good reason. Egypt has to be one of the most popular slot themes of all time. Cleo’s Wish is a vibrant-looking slot with 5 reels and a smooth jazz soundtrack (we haven’t quite figured out the connection between the jazz music and Egypt; perhaps there isn’t one – but anyhow, it works). There are 25 pay lines and of course, these reels are situated by the beautiful Nile; pyramids standing pretty in the background and then the stunning Cleopatra’s presence to the left of the reels. Everything is beautiful in this game, even down to the graphics and little animations following each win.
Special Features
The reels consist of a logo symbol, a scarab, bracelet and ankh symbols making up the higher values. Lower value symbols are from Ace to 9. There is a Cleopatra wild which substitutes all symbols but the scatter; the scatter is the pyramid bonus and lands on reels 1, 3 and 5 only.
Cleopatra can wave her magic wand at any time during the main game and apply one of the 3 special features:
- Sands of Fortune – all higher value symbols appearing during that spin will appear as the same symbol
- Added Wild – wilds can be added anywhere upon the reels
- Guaranteed Wild Reels – up to 5 reels could become guaranteed wilds for that spin.
Bonus Features
Landing 3 pyramid scatters will activate one of two bonus free spins games:
- Cleo’s Parade – reel 5 starts with a stack of wilds for the first free spin. Each subsequent free spin leads to the stack mobbing one reel to the left. Any further stacked wilds that land will also hold and move to the left with each spin. Landing 3 scatters will result in another stack of wilds starting on reel 5, and the bonus game ends when the last stack reaches the leftmost reel.
- Eternal Riches – this will award you between 5 and 10 free spins, with any appearing wilds giving you extra multipliers (up to 20x) and additional spins! This bonus game can also be retriggered.
Verdict
